First Meeting of the Editorial Board of indiancattle.com

Indiancattle.com has achieved a crucial milestone of forming and galvanizing its editorial board (for list of members please click here).

The first meeting was convened on 8th December 2018 at Hotel Ambassador, Churchgate, Mumbai. The agenda of the meeting included strategies to network gaushala in the country, encouraging Zebu cattle breeders to register, organizing webinar for gaushala, para-vets, vets and breeder-farmers on various topics of their interests, developing coordination and partnership with government organizations like NDDB, central government schemes, veterinary and agricultural universities, state government and other active NGOs like BAIF. The board was also appraised of achievement so far and constraints. The Board appreciated progress and complimented indiancattle.com team for making visible progress. The Board members actively participated in the meeting and a number of useful suggestions were given based on which indiancattle.com will develop quarterly action plan. It was also strongly recommended that the portal be made multilingual and blogs be posted in regional languages. The Board also recommended interactive communication with gaushala, breeders and service providers who are already registered in the portal.
